Ted focuses his practice on insurance coverage litigation and advising clients with coverage issues across a wide array of industries and types of policies. Ted counsels insurance companies on claim and coverage assessments and analyses, risk transfer, and issues of bad faith. He has handled various complex matters involving D&O, CGL, Auto, Umbrella/Excess, EPL, ICPL, Cyber, and Environmental liability policies.

In addition to his work in the insurance coverage space, Ted has assisted clients on a variety of other matters, including products liability actions, estate litigation, commercial litigation, and personal injury actions.

Ted graduated from Seton Hall University’s School of Law in 2022. Prior to joining Coughlin Midlige & Garland, Ted served as a law clerk to the Hon. Thomas J. Walsh, P.J.F.P. in the New Jersey Superior Court, Union Vicinage. During his clerkship, Ted worked on a variety of cases including matrimonial matters, employment disputes, and commercial transactions.

During his time at Seton Hall, Ted worked in a variety of roles, including internships with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the New Jersey Bureau of Securities, a New York based law firm, and the Hon. Mark P. Ciarrocca, P.J.Cv.

Prior to attending law school, Ted worked for Deloitte on a variety of different investment company clients in the private equity and hedge funds space. His work there focused on fund financial reporting and private investment valuations.
