Matthew graduated cum laude from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2025. While in law school, Matthew served as Managing Editor of Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights and Social Justice (CJERSJ) Volume 31. As Managing Editor, Matthew authored, edited, and published various scholarly works on a wide range of legal topics. Matthew also served as Business Editor of CJERSJ, responsible for managing and facilitating the journal’s budget and business affairs. Matthew’s coursework in law school focused primarily on corporate transactional law, where he gained experience in disciplines such as Mergers and Acquisitions, Securities Regulation, and Crypto/ Digital Asset Regulation. Matthew also participated in the Cardozo Law Fashion Practicum, where he performed legal work and provided business strategy for an early-stage fashion startup at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York.  

In 2024, Matthew worked as a summer associate with Coughlin Midlige & Garland. In 2021, Matthew graduated with a B.A. in Sociology from New York University (NYU) as an Honors Scholar and was awarded the NYU Founder’s Day Award upon graduation.
