Patrick J. Timney

Patrick J. Timney is an Associate in the Firm’s Insurance & Reinsurance Services Group.

During law school, Patrick was a judicial intern for the Honorable Peter A. Bogaard, J.S.C. After his second year, Patrick worked at a national law firm, assisting the general liability and medical malpractice groups. He also served as Co-President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.

Prior to joining the firm, Patrick was judicial law clerk to the Honorable Martin F. Barbato, J.S.C. (Retired) Temporarily Assigned on Recall and to the Honorable Patricia J. O’Dowd, J.S.C. Patrick had the unique experience of clerking in both the Chancery Division, Family Part and the Law Division, Civil Part. As a judicial law clerk, he was responsible for preparing court opinions and bench memoranda, performing legal research, and providing support while his judges conducted trial.

Patrick currently serves as a Director of the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey (APALA-NJ).

Before law school, Patrick worked as a claims adjuster at a national commercial insurance carrier.
