Mr. Robert Muilenburg spoke at the 2015 CLM Atlanta Conference-Environmental
Robert Muilenberg, Founding Partner with Coughlin Midlige & Garland LLP presented, “Allocation and Coordination Between Various Coverages: Pollution, Commercial General Liability, and Professional Liability.” This event will took place in Atlanta, GA on November 5-6, 2015.
Mr. Muilenburg’s practice concentrates in insurance coverage and environmental litigation. He has an active litigation practice in New York and New Jersey state and federal court. He has litigated and counseled insurer clients on a wide range of insurance coverage issues, with an emphasis on environmental, professional liability, construction defects, and additional insured claims. He has tried cases in state and federal court, and has obtained favorable trial and appellate decisions in New York and New Jersey on a number of important coverage issues, including estoppel, allocation, trigger of coverage, application of the pollution and owned property exclusions and additional insured coverage.
Mr. Muilenburg also represents a broad spectrum of commercial and industrial companies in environmental contamination and toxic tort litigation. He has defended numerous companies in litigation involving CERCLA, the New Jersey Spill Act, and the New York Navigation Act. He has handled environmental contamination claims ranging from widespread groundwater solvent contamination to leaking underground storage tanks.
